Beast Master v1.5.0 #
Subclass Version #
- Use the TCE version of this subclass as a base, it is a significant improvement over the original subclasses design.
Primal Companion (1) #
- You also determine the kind of animal the beast is, choosing a kind appropriate for the stat block when you first gain this feature, and additionally whenever you complete a Long Rest.
- You choose where the Beast moves when it does so during your turn, and you can choose whether or not the Beast takes an available Reaction.
Beast Master Magic (1) #
- This feature is gained at Level 1 and spells normally granted at 3rd Level in Ranger are granted at 1st Level instead.
- You learn an additional spell when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Beast Master Spells table. Each spell counts as a Ranger spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of Ranger spells you know.
